Ahead of the election for the post of Bihar assembly Speaker, senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi has alleged that jailed Lalu Prasad was trying to poach NDA MLAs in an attempt to topple the Nitish Kumar government. The former deputy CM on Wednesday tweeted a purported audio clip where the RJD supremo is allegedly trying to lure a BJP leader. During a debate over this issue, BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain took a jibe at RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari. He said if Mrityunjay Tiwari wants we can conduct a CBI inquiry in this case.
