Seremban prison and quarters placed under enhanced MCO

During a briefing on Monday (Nov 23), Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the government has decided to implement the enhanced movement control order (MCO) on the Seremban prison and its staff quarters starting Nov 24 until Dec 7.
He said this comes after the health ministry recorded 25 positive Covid-19 cases within the prison.
The enhanced MCO will affect some 2,080 people in the prison’s staff quarters.
