न्यूयॉर्क में बसे स्कॉटलैंड के लेखक डगलस स्टुअर्ट को बृहस्पतिवार को उनके पहले उपन्यास ‘शग्गी बैन' के लिए उन्हें 2020 का बुकर पुरस्कार मिला है. ‘शग्गी बैन' की कहानी में ग्लासगो की पृष्ठभूमि है. दुबई में बसी भारतीय मूल की लेखिका अवनी दोशी का पहला उपन्यास ‘बर्नंट शुगर' भी इस श्रेणी में नामित था. कुल छह लोगों के उपन्यास नामित थे. स्टुअर्ट ने कहा, मुझे विश्वास नहीं हो रहा. देखें वीडियो
