Former India all-rounder Ajit Agarkar has thrown his hat into the ring for the post of the selector of the national team. Earlier this year as well, Agarkar was one of the candidates who had applied for the position but missed out, probably due to the zonal policy. Although there is no written rule, the BCCI continues to follow it.
