Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a telephonic conversation with US President-elect Joe Biden on Tuesday. This was the first direct interaction between the two world leaders since Biden and his running mate, Indian-origin Kamala Harris, secured a Electoral College majority to win the presidency of the US.
