Hardline Islamic group supporters clash with Pakistani police during latest anti-France protests

Thousands of supporters of Tehreek-e-Labbaik, a hardline Islamic political party, clashed with Pakistani police during a protest in the city of Rawalpindi on November 15-16, 2020. Demonstrators denounced French President Emmanuel Macron over his recent remarks about Islam which have sparked outrage in Pakistan, Turkey and several other Muslim-majority countries.
