Santosh Kumar Suman, son of former Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, also took the oath of office. Jitanram Manjhi's party Hindustani Awam Morcha left the Mahagathbandhan before the election and joined the NDA and Nitish Kumar gave them seats from the JDU quota.
