Delhi's air quality plunged to 'very poor' category on Friday with government agencies estimating that it could turn to 'severe' on Diwali night. The Delhi government has banned the sale and use of firecrackers this Diwali in an effort to control the rise in air pollution which has led to a spike in coronavirus cases in the national capital.
