We hear so much these days about how important it is that parents instill good values in their children. The truth is that if parents don’t accept this responsibility, then the void may be filled by negative forces in our culture that do not support healthy morals and ethics for our families. The more aware parents are of their own values, the clearer they will be in expressing them and communicating them to their children.
पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू का जन्म 14 नवंबर 1889 को इलाहबाद में हुआ था। उनके जन्मदिन को बाल दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। नेहरू जी का बच्चों से बड़ा स्नेह था और वे बच्चों को देश का भावी निर्माता मानते थे। बच्चों के प्रति उनके इस स्नेह भाव के कारण बच्चे भी उनसे बेहद लगाव और प्रेम रखते थे और उन्हें चाचा नेहरू कहकर पुकारते थे। यही कारण है कि नेहरू जी के जन्मदिन को बाल दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है। बाल दिवस का मतलब एक दिन बच्चों के प्रति महज जागरुकता पैदा करना नहीं है, बल्कि बच्चों के पालन-पोषण के प्रति सोच को विकसित करना है.
