Rohit Sharma will not be part of the Indian contingent flying from Dubai to Sydney on Wednesday for the Australia tour. Sharma, who led the Mumbai Indians to their fifth IPL title on Tuesday, will instead return home to recover completely from the hamstring injury he suffered during the IPL.

इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग के 13वें सीजन के फाइनल में मंगलवार यानी यानी 10 नवंबर की रात कप्तानी भूमिका निभाने के बाद रोहित शर्मा अब ऑस्ट्रेलिया के खिलाफ 17 दिसंबर से होने वाली टेस्ट सीरीज पर अपना ध्यान केंद्रित करने के लिए तैयार हैं। हालांकि, मुंबई इंडियंस के कप्तान रोहित शर्मा को ऑस्ट्रेलिया में टेस्ट सीरीज खेलने के लिए मुंबई लौटना होगा और भारतीय क्रिकेट कंट्रोल बोर्ड के नियमों के मुताबिक रिहैब पूरा करना होगा। बता दें कि आईपीएल के बाद टीम इंडिया भारत नहीं लौटकर दुबई से ही सीधे सिडनी के लिए रवाना हो गई ।
