The Ministry Of Education Has Embarked To Start A Virtual University Where Lecturers Will Be Using Online Platforms To Reach Students. Higher Education And Research Principal Secretary Ambassador Simon Nabukwesi Said The Need Is Driven By The Realities Of The Covid-19 Pandemic That Has Pushed Learning Institutions Online. However, Chief Adminitrative Secretary Mumina Bonaya Urged That The Program Should Be Made Inclusive To Capture The Needs Of Needy Learners Such As Girls.
