Brazilian state of Sao Paulo builds plant to make China’s coronavirus vaccine candidate, CoronaVac

The Brazilian state of Sao Paulo has started building a facility to produce 100 million doses a year of CoronaVac, a vaccine against the coronavirus that Chinese researchers are developing. The factory, due to be completed in September 2021, is the first of its kind in Latin America, said Sao Paulo Governor João Doria on November 9, 2020.
