Counting of votes for the Bihar assembly elections will take longer than usual and continue till late in the night because of 63 per cent increase in the number of EVMs, the Election Commission said on Monday.Briefing reporters in the national capital as the counting progressed in Bihar, EC officials said over 1 crore votes were counted till around 1.30 pm out of nearly 4.16 crore votes polled in the three-phase elections.Watch video,

बिहार चुनाव को लेकर आ रहे रुझानों के बीच चुनाव आयोग ने एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस की. प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस में चुनाव आयोग ने बताया कि करीब एक करोड़ वोटों की गिनती हो चुकी है. कुल 55 जगहों पर गिनती हो रही है. चुनाव आय़ोग ने ईवीएम हैक के आरोपों का खंडन किया है. इस बार करीब 4.10 करोड़ वोट पड़े हैं. पहले मतगणना के 25-26 राउंड हुआ करते थे, इस बार यह लगभग 35 राउंड हो गए. इसलिए मतगणना देर शाम तक जारी रहेगी. देखें वीडियो
