Anirudh Ravichander is an Indian film composer and singer, who works predominantly in Tamil films. The song, "Why This Kolaveri Di", that Anirudh had composed for the Tamil film 3, went viral on YouTube.
Velaikkaran is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by Mohan Raja.Featuring an ensemble cast including Sivakarthikeyan and Fahadh Faasil in the lead roles. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Ramji. Produced by R. D. Raja. The film is based on 2 youngsters Arivu and Azhagu and their battle against food adulteration
The single was sung by Anirudh and released on 29th August 2017 with the title 'Karuthavanlaam Galeejam'.
'Karuthavanlaam Galeejam' was termed as the return of North-Madras-style-kutthhu by many. The theme of the song deals with the misconception that black people are scruffy and inferior.
A second single was announced by the producer as a "2 in 1 surprise". A teaser video starring music director Anirudh Ravichander was released on YouTube in which he said that "the 2nd single had been titled Iraiva. The song is a unique experience which combines two emotions - life and love. So basically, it is a 2 in 1 surprise".
Iraiva was released on 2nd November.
The complete album is decided to release on December 3rd 2017.
