Ian Rapoport of NFL Network revealed that the deal is worth $54.5 million and includes $42.75 million in guarantees.
$54.5 million breaks down to $27.25 million per year, which is the highest annual salary in NFL history for a non-quarterback, according to Bleacher Report.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the extension gives Hopkins $94 million over the next five seasons when added to the three years left on his current contract. .
