Jiggs Kalra, The ‘Czar Of Indian Cuisine Dies At 72

Jaspal Inder Singh Kalra popularly known as Jiggs Kalra passed away at the age of 72. He was a famous food columnist, restaurateur, author and food consultant. Jiggs Kalra was instrumental in representing Indian food on international platform. Kalra was the first Asain to be inducted in the International Food and Beverage Gourmet Hall of Fame. Kalra has even served Princess Diana and Prince Charles. Jiggs is survived by his son Zorawar who owns a Massive Restaurants Private Limited. Zorawar Singh carried the legacy of his father and went to open a chain of ‘Farzi Cafe’As the news of his passing away broke out, internet was flooded with condolence messages.
