World Day Against Child Labour 2019: Know the Theme and Its Goals
  • 3 years ago
World Day Against Child Labour is observed on June 12 every year. In 2002, The International Labour Organization (ILO) launched the World Day Against Child Labour to bring attention on the global extent of the issue and efforts needed to eliminate it. Governments, civil society, employers and various organisations come together to highlight child labour and discuss measures through which it can be solved. 152 million children continue to be doing child labour. The aim is to end child labour of all forms by 2025.
