Assam: Tiger Finds New Home As Floods Hit Kaziranga Forest

A Bengal Tiger was found sitting on a bed in a house in flood hit Harmati area of Kaziranga in Assam. Forest officials reached the spot. Due to the devastating floods in Assam, over 70 per cent of the Kaziranga National Park and its 95 camps were submerged in water. The National Park is the home to the world’s largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses and other animals like tigers and elephants.
