National Whistleblower Appreciation Day is celebrated across the United States and some of the democratic countries, to appreciate and give recognition to whistleblowers whose actions have furthered the cause of democracy. The US Senate in 2018 unanimously passed a resolution to mark July 30 as the commemorative day.
