Wing Commander Tarun Chaudhri Does ‘Wingsuit Skydive From 8500 Feet, in a First for IAF

Wing Commander Tarun Chaudhri became the first pilot of the Indian Air Force (IAF) to do a ‘Wingsuit Skydive’ from 8500 feet. Chaudhri accomplished the feat from a Mi-17 helicopter. The Wing Commander performed the act during Kargil Diwas celebrations in Jodhpur on July 21. This is the first flying wingsuit jump demonstration at an organised gathering by Indian Air Force.
