Reportedly, PM Modi’s two special aircraft may be placed under the Indian Air Force rather than Air India. Boeing 777-300ER aircraft are being customised at Boeing’s Dallas facility. They are expected to reach India in June 2020. Aircrafts will be complete with missile defence systems making them as secure as the Boeing 747-200B used by US President Donald Trump. It will be India’s first dedicated aircraft for three dignitaries- President, Vice President and Prime Minister. Boeing 777 will be first Indian plane to be equipped with Special Protection Suite hat can jam enemy radar frequencies.
