Coronavirus In India: Four Suspects With Home Quarantine Stamps Deboarded From Train In Maharashtra

Four Coronavirus suspects were deboarded from Garib Rath train in Palghar Maharashtra on March 18. The suspects were deboarded after some of the co-passengers alerted the travelling ticket examiners (TTEs) after seeing ‘home quarantine’ stamps on their hands. The four passengers with a travel history to Germany were heading to Surat in Gujarat despite their isolation stamps. The four passengers had undergone the mandatory check at the airport and were asked to home quarantine themselves for 14 days. The total number of cases in India has risen to 171 with 45 in Maharashtra, the highest for a state in the country.
