Kamal Nath Resigns As Madhya Pradesh CM Before Trust Vote, Congress Government Likely To Fall

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath has resigned hours before the Supreme Court-ordered trust vote is scheduled to be held in the state assembly. The Speaker of the house also accepted the resignation of 16 other Congress MLAs who had rebelled against Kamal Nath’s government and have switched allegiances to the BJP.
