Shaheen Bagh & Jamia Protest Sites Cleared Amid Lockdown In Delhi Over Coronavirus Outbreak

Amid the coronavirus outbreak, Delhi’s Shaheen Bagh – the central place of protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) was cleared on Tuesday morning after 101 days. Cops reached the site of the protest this morning after Section 144 was imposed. Delhi has registered 30 cases of coronavirus till now. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also requested people to follow the lockdown or strict action will be taken. Delhi police also cleared the protest site at Jamia amid complete lockdown. In India, the number has crossed the 500 mark with Maharashtra reporting 107 cases, highest in the country. Nine deaths have been reported so far
