Coronavirus: Cases In India at 649 With 17 Deaths, U.S. Registers Huge Spike In Fatality Numbers

Despite a country-wide total lockdown, India had another day of increase in Coronavirus cases. As of March 26, India had 649 confirmed cases of Coronavirus and had also seen 17 deaths due to the COVID-19 infection. Maharashtra is the state with the most number of cases in India at 125, and Kerala had 118. Telangana, Karnataka, Rajasthan and Gujarat also registered a spike in coronavirus cases. Meanwhile on the global front, Italy and Spain have surpassed China in COVID-19 fatality numbers. The United States too has seen an increase in the number of COVID-19-related fatality.
