Shah Rukh Joins Fight Against COVID-19, Taapsee Pannu, Others React To PM Modis Call To Light Diyas

Shah Rukh Khan is the latest to join the list of celebrities contributing towards coronavirus relief fund. Taking to Twitter SRK announced that all his centres- Kolkata Knight Riders, Red Chillies Entertainment, Meer Foundation and Red Chillies VFX - will support the government with monetary contributions. He re-tweeted a post by Red Chillies Entertainment and said India and Indians are one family. In a statement released to the media, SRK quoted Nidai Fazli Sahib and said, ‘Raat ke baad naye din ki sahar aayegi, Din nahi badlega, tareeq Badal jayegi.’ CM Uddhav Thackeray and Aaditya Thackeray tweeted thanking SRK for his contribution. King Khan replied to both the posts and said there is no need to thank each other and we all are together in this fight. Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi requested all to switch off the lights in the house & light diyas, lamps or torches on April 5 at 9 pm for 9 minutes. Many celebs reacted to PM Modi’s initiative.
