Delhi Cop Who Tested COVID-19 Positive Slams Hospital For Lack Of Facilities

A policeman who is a COVID-19 positive patient quarantined at Chaudhary Brahm Prakash Ayurvedic Charak Sansthan in Najafgarh, Delhi created a video message. In the video, the policeman alleges that there is an absence of basic facilities and filthy conditions at the hospital. The policeman claimed there are 20 people in one hall with access to a single washroom. He also alleged that no one provides them with warm water or medicines. Sachin Tomar, Delhi Police Constable said, “I am a COVID-19 patient and a Delhi police constable. In one hall there are around 20 people here. And for 20 people there is only one washroom. If suppose someone has pain in the throat or has fever, they don’t even provide medicines for the same.” The number of active cases in Delhi has reached 2156 with 47 deaths. The total confirmed cases in India stand at 19984 with 640 deaths.
