On June 29, a major virtual conference was held by Disney+ Hotstar titled Bollywood Ki Home Delivery to announce the seven Bollywood films that would skip theatrical release and instead hit the OTT platform. For the mega event, lead actors of four films were invited for representation. Alia Bhatt for Sadak 2, Ajay Devgn for Bhuj: The Pride of India, Akshay Kumar for Laxxmi Bomb, Abhishek Bachchan for Big Bull. Varun Dhawan was the host for the event. The other three films that are also set for digital release include late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s Dil Bechara, Vidyut Jammwal’s Khuda Haafiz and Kunal Kemmu’s Lootcase. However, neither Jammwal nor Kemmu were invited for the virtual event. There was no one present from Dil Bechara team as well. Aamir Khan’s staff member has tested positive for the deadly coronavirus. The star, in his statement posted on Twitter, also confirmed that the rest of them have tested negative for the virus. Though there is no information on when cinema halls will reopen, the cinema chains have confirmed the most awaited films of the year, Sooryavanshi and 83 will be festival releases. Kartik Aaryan is a huge Shah Rukh Khan fan and we all know that! The pic shared by the actor sees him in quite an unrecognisable avatar posing with Sagarika Ghatge, part of Shah Rukh Khan's film Chak De! India. Kartik revealed how he jumped the barricades and passed on a message for SRK via the actor. The message was, “Shah Rukh Khan ko mera Hi bolna.” Rajkummar Rao and girlfriend Patralekhaa were spotted in the city. Vaani Kapoor was seen at Pooja Films in Juhu. Anil Kapoor was clicked post dubbing.
