Spanish authorities have told La Liga clubs to cut ties with their betting kit sponsors. New regulations will be brought in from next year concerning betting and gambling companies.

With seven of the 20 clubs in La Liga having betting/gambling sponsors on their shirts, the impact is likely to be significant for one of Europe's biggest football competitions.

Another question is whether similar measures will be implemented in the UK?
