The rest of this week's parliament sittings will be cut short to 1pm following Covid-19 fears that also prompted an early end to yesterday's session.

The motion was passed after a voice vote called by Dewan Rakyat speaker Azhar Azizan Harun this morning.

De facto law minister Takiyuddin Hassan said the decision to end the sittings at 1pm was in accordance with Standing Order 12(1).
