Only one place to start this morning and that's the 2020 U.S. presidential election.
In-person votes to pick the next president will begin from a small town in New Hampshire in the coming hours and spread west as the sun comes up.
Polling stations will be closed across all states by 2 p.m. Wednesday, Korea time.
Kim Hyo-sun reports.
The first in-person votes in the 2020 U.S. presidential election will kick off Tuesday midnight, local time, at Dixville Notch, New Hampshire.
This means that some dozen eligible voters there will cast their ballots on 2 p.m. Tuesday, Korea time.
The tradition of midnight voting in this small town started in 1960.
Other states will also open voting beginning with Vermont, located in the eastern part of the country, at 5 a.m. Eastern Standard Time.
They will be followed by Texas and other central U.S. states,... as well as the West Coast including California.
The closing of voting stations will also begin from the East Coast as well.
Voting is set to close from 9 a.m. Wednesday, Korea time for Virginia,... and by 2 p.m. all voting stations across the U.S. will close with Alaska being the last state to do so.
Because of this time line,... some states will reveal their exit poll results while voting is in progress for others.
With much of the attention on the six swing states,... pundits predict that it could take some time to finalize who will be leading the White House for the next four years.
Key battleground states - Florida and Pennsylvania - are those that are likeliest to decide the election.
