Bushiri court case spark debates on blind faith and religion
  • 3 years ago
The bail judgment for self-proclaimed Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, his wife and three others will be handed down on Wednesday. The accused have been in custody for almost two weeks. They are facing charges of fraud, theft and money laundering. Followers of Bushiri and his wife are adamant the couple is innocent of all charges, that their arrest amounts to a spiritual warfare against the two. How is such devotion and fervent belief created? Psychologist Professor, Saths Cooper President of the Pan African Psychology Union discusses this. Courtesy #DStv403
