Every year, Karva Chauth Vrat is observed on the Chaturthi Tithi of Krishna of Kartik month. This fast is considered special for women. It is said that the happy women who fast on this day with the long life and happiness of their husband, their wishes are fulfilled. This fast has been observed since ancient times.

हर साल कार्तिक मास के कृष्ण पक्षी की चतुर्थी तिथि को करवा चौथ व्रत किया जाता है। यह व्रत सुहागन स्त्रियों के लिए विशेष माना जाता हैं। कहते हैं कि जो सुहागन स्त्रियां इस दिन अपने पति की लंबी उम्र और सुख की कामना से व्रत रखती है उसकी मनोकामना पूरी होती है। इस व्रत को प्राचीन समय से किया जा रहा है।
