A resident of Manzorpura, a small village near Kartarpur Corridor described the impact Kartarpur Corridor initiative has had on them. According to him, the area used to be very empty and nobody ever visited or knew about the village. But due to Kartarpur Corridor, new businesses have emerged and the price of the land has also increased. The local villager said they face no security issues. New employment opportunities have also emerged. His message to India is to follow the footsteps of Pakistan and work for the well-being of the people. He said India should lift the curfew in Kashmir and do something for the humanity. However, the government has blocked a few roads in the area and is not allowing anyone to pass. People who live on the other side are facing problem. But these problems are temporary according to the locals. The benefits are far greater, good for the generations to come.
