1965 Indo-Pak War | Why Major Aziz Bhatti Martyred Was Awarded Nishan-e-Haider By Pak Army?

On September 6, 1965, Indian troops suddenly attacked the Pakistani borders. Nevertheless, the great Pakistan army known for its bravery defended the country against the Indian army. Since then, every year September 6 is celebrated as a defence day or Youm-e-Dafa by Pakistan army. Major Aziz Bhatti was among the fearless Pakistani soldiers who sacrificed his life for the sake of the country's protection. Major Raja Aziz Bhatti was born on August 06, 1928 in Hong Kong. In 1948, Bhatti became a military officer in Pak Army. He was cited with Nishan-e-Haider for his actions and determination for putting a brave front on against the Indian Army.
