Pakistan has taken a huge step under the PTI government to promote information and technology in the country. Pakistan telecommunication authority (PTA) has given a manufacturing license to sixteen International mobile companies. This venture of assembling mobile phones in Pakistan would ultimately decrease the cost of mobiles. Anchor Zeeshan Aziz elaborated, this initiative will benefit Pakistan to a milestone. Local manufacturing will definitely lessen the dependency on the import of mobile phones from foreign countries. The illegal mobile imports will be restricted as well.
