In 2015, Nitish Kumar came together with former Bihar chief minister and arch-rivals Lalu Prasad Yadav and formed an electoral alliance with RJD. However, two years after winning the 2015 Assembly election, Nitish Kumar leveled corruption charges against RJD leaders.
