Cyclone Bulbul May Skip Odisha And Head Towards Bangladesh: State Special Relief Commissioner

Cyclone Bulbul, which is over the Bay of Bengal, may intensify into a severe cyclonic storm during next 24 hours, as per IMD. Cyclone Bulbul has moved northwards with a speed of six kmph during past six hours and lay centred at 02:30 hrs over east-central and adjoining the southeast Bay of Bengal. Odisha Special Relief Commissioner, Pradeep Kr Jena in Bhubaneswar stated that as per IMD, Cyclone Bulbul may not touch Odisha coast for its landfall. Jena said that the cyclone may go towards Bangladesh.
