A personal valet to Donald Trump has tested positive for COVID-19, confirmed the White House on May 7. However, the United States President Donald Trump & Vice-President Mike Pence have tested negative. A valet, in the US administration, is a member of the American military who is assigned the charge of working closely with the President in relation to his clothing & appearance. The valet, along with other valets works in close proximity to the president. “We were recently notified by the White House Medical Unit that a member of the United States Military, who works on the White House campus, has tested positive for Coronavirus” White House spokesman Hogan Gidley said in a statement. Reportedly, after the valet was confirmed with the infection, the authorities were compelled to test Trump & Pence, along with other White House officials. “The President and the Vice President have since tested negative for the virus and they remain in great health” White House spokesman Hogan Gidley said in a statement.
