An American explorer has found plastic at the bottom of the Mariana Trench in the deepest dive ever. Victor Vescovo claims to have found a plastic bag and candy wrappers during a dive that purportedly reached 10927 meters. Vescovo made his dive on April 28 as part of his “Five Deeps’ expedition.
