Covid-19: 10 deaths reported today, highest on record

Malaysia has reported 710 new cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours up to noon today, as well as 10 deaths, marking the highest number of fatalities reported in a single day since the pandemic hit the country.

Sabah continues to record the highest number of new infections with 528 cases or 74.4 percent, as well as the highest death rate with eight out of the 10 deaths.

The remaining two deaths were reported in Labuan and Kedah. The latest death count is at 214 cases or 0.9 percent of all recorded cases.
