Four officials nabbed for R1.2 billion tender fraud

It's not clear whether the Hawks plan on arresting former Gauteng Health MEC, Brian Hlongwa, after some of his former colleagues were taken into custody. Four ex-senior health officials are linked to a controversial 2007 tender worth R1.2 billion which was illegally awarded. Hlongwa himself has been tied to corruption in the awarding of the contract.
