R.K Nagar is one of the constituency in Tamilnadu. Jayalalitha, former ADMK chief and CM of Tamilnadu who passed away on December 5, 2016 stood as a candidate of that constituency and won two times continuously. After her death that place has become vacant and Election commission announced re-election for that place. by that time ADMK got split into two teams, one team is lead by O.Paneerselvam who was the CM Tamilnadu for 3 times and he resgined his minster posting and formed a separate group. Another team is lead by TTV Dinakaran who introduced OPS to Jayalalitha. Election commission found that peoples are bribed to put votes, therefore they called off the elections. Minster Vijayabasker is framed as a important person in this issue. Sasikala now is an acqust and sentenced to jail for 4 years in property issues.DMK is opponent party which ruled Tamilnadu for many years. Karunanidhi is chief of DMK and been CM of Tamilnadu for 5 times. His son M.K Stalin is appointed as action leader of DMK and leads the party as Karunanidhi is sick. Stalin has taken this issue to the high court for the final solution for this case.
