Metro rail service resumed in Mumbai from today, about 7 months after the lockdown was implemented across the country including Mumbai. From today the metro ran again on the Ghatkopar-Versova line of Mumbai. Before the lockdown, trains were running only on this metro line in Mumbai. The Government of Maharashtra has relaxed many such works and businesses in the 'Mission Begin Again', which was still banned. The Mumbai local train called Mumbai's lifeline has already been restored, now the passengers are relieved by the reopening of the metro service.

मुंबई सहित देश भर में लॉकडाउन लागू किए जाने के करीब 7 महीने बाद आज से मुंबई में मेट्रो रेल सेवा फिर शुरू हो गई. आज से मुंबई के घाटकोपर-वर्सोवा लाइन पर मेट्रो फिर से दौड़ी. लॉकडाउन से पहले मुंबई में केवल इसी मेट्रो लाइन पर ट्रेनें चल रही थीं. महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने 'मिशन बिगिन अगेन' में कई ऐसे कामों और कारोबारों को करने की ढील दे दी है, जिन पर अभी तक रोक थी. मुंबई की लाइफ लाइन कही जाने वाली मुंबई लोकल ट्रेन को पहले ही बहाल किया जा चुका है, अब मेट्रो सेवा को दोबारा खोले जाने से यात्रियों को राहत मिली है.
