China GDP: economy grew by 4.9 per cent in third quarter of 2020

The world’s second-largest economy grew by 4.9 per cent in the third quarter of 2020, according to figures released by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on October 19, 2020. China is expected to be one of the few countries in the world to register growth during a year heavily impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
