Dolphins are one of the most friendly marine creatures that are often found performing acrobatics at theme parks. In a first of its kind move, Edge Innovations, a U.S. engineering company with an animatronic and special effects division in California, designed the dolphin, which starts at $3 million to $5 million. This robotic remote control dolphin is very hard to tell from the real one if someone is swimming in the same pool. The dolphin looks much like those that jump through hoops and perform acrobatics. There are like 3,000 dolphins currently in captivity being used to generate several billions of dollars just for dolphin experiences. This robotic creature gives hope that one day the wild animals held in captivity will be freed and replaced with the robotic ones to entertain the humans.
