On Thursday morning, the rain continued to lash various parts of Mumbai. Mumbai witnessed heavy rain last night. In many areas of the city, it is still raining. Mumbai and its suburbs, including Thane, Palghar and Raigad among other areas, may witness heavy to very heavy rainfall on 15 October owing to intense rain-bearing weather systems over the east coast, according to reports. IMD has issued the red alert for these areas.
