BSP supremo Mayawati has targeted the Yogi government of the state when Samrat Das, the priest of Ramjanaki temple in Gonda district, was shot dead by bullies. Mayawati tweeted on Monday that the incident is very embarrassing. Despite the government of a saint in the state, even saints are not safe here.

बसपा सुप्रीमो मायावती ने गोंडा जनपद के रामजानकी मंदिर के पुजारी सम्राट दास को दबंगों द्वारा गोली मारे जाने पर सूबे की योगी सरकार पर निशाना साधा है. मायावती ने सोमवार को ट्वीट कर कहा कि घटना अति-शर्मनाक है. सूबे में एक संत की सरकार है इसके बावजूद यहां संत भी सुरक्षित नहीं हैं.
