In early August, Russian Helicopters announced the first flight of the upgraded Ka-52M ‘Alligator’ helicopter. The major upgrades to sensors, weapons, and cockpit, landing gear and rotor blades effectively make it an all-new machine.
The Ka-52M is considered similar to the Boeing AH-64E Apache in attack ability though both are completely dissimilar in design.
It remains to be seen if the new features in the upgraded helicopter will give it an edge over the Apache which has become perhaps the largest selling attack helicopter in recent years.

The helicopter in the video is the Ka-52. The upgraded Ka-52M has not been publicly unveiled as yet.
