Three vaccines of the corona virus are being trialled on humans in India. One of them is a foreign vaccine developed by researchers at Oxford University and pharma company AstraZeneca. Trial and manufacturing of this vaccine has been signed with Serum Institute of India AstraZeneca, Pune. Let me tell you that this vaccine will be available in the name of 'Kovishield'. Currently, phase 2 trials are going on in India. Vaccine double blind, randomized trials are being conducted at 53 volunteers at PGI, Chandigarh. Up to a week after the first dose, volunteers have not seen any side effects.

भारत में कोरोना वायरस की तीन वैक्‍सीन का इंसानों पर ट्रायल हो रहा है। इनमें से एक विदेशी वैक्‍सीन है जिसे ऑक्‍सफोर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी और फार्मा कंपनी अस्‍त्राजेनेका के रिसर्चर्स ने डेवलप किया है। पुणे के सीरम इंस्टिट्यूट ऑफ इंडिया अस्‍त्राजेनेका से इस वैक्‍सीन के ट्रायल और मैनुफैक्‍चरिंग की डील की है। आपको बता दें कि ये वैक्‍सीन 'कोविशील्‍ड' के नाम से उपलब्‍ध होगी। फिलहाल इसका भारत में फेज 2 ट्रायल चल रहा है। चंडीगढ़ के पीजीआई में 53 वॉलंटियर्स पर वैक्‍सीन का डबल ब्‍लाइंड, रैंडमाइज्‍ड ट्रायल हो रहा है। पहला डोज लगने के एक हफ्ते बाद तक, वॉलंटियर्स में किसी तरह के कोई साइड इफेक्‍ट्स नहीं देखे गए हैं।
